Bento #4!

♥ M E N U ♥ * maruchan microwave yakisoba * mini pepperidge farms chessmen cookies * curry dried bread pieces (from china)
Once again, please excuse the bad photo. I didn't even bother messing with layers on Photoshop today.
Quick and easy bento today. I fixed up a microwave pack of yakisoba and tossed in a few florets of broccoli and some slices of beef from dinner last night (heated up, of course). It wasn't bad, but I think that buying a packet to cook on the stove from the asian grocer would make it a bit better. :) See the noodles? Some got really mushy while some stayed crunchy. If I had a stove pack, then I would be able to make sure that all of the noodles were cooked to a good softness.
No drink today, I bought a can of orangeade again. I really need to buy that thermal water bottle (MY MELODY!!) from Sanrio so I could bring something from home like tea. But oh well --- school's almost over so I can't really show off, so I'll get it in time for next year's bento. :D I am also determined to buy that My Melody bento box to add to my collection, though I really want a nice Hakoya bento or something along the lines of that.
The snack bento was full of chessmen cookies and curry bread from china (neither of which I really touched).
As you can see, this was a bento packed for two people. I packed lunch for both Carissa and I and we had a feast in the middle of the freakin' lunch table. People were jealous. I should learn not to bring so much food next time, however. I was yelling at Carissa to shove food down her mouth and we ended up throwing away a bunch of noodles anyway. The snack bento's still full, so I think she's eating the snacks I packed in it right now (I left my bentos at her house since I went over for a party).
No recipe tonight, sorry. =( Also no bento collection photos, because both of my bento boxes and my utensils are at Carissa's house, as well as my FIRETRUCK LUNCHBOX. The only thing I have on hand that is bento-related is the Tenorikuma bag I use to carry my bento boxes when I only have one on hand.
I'll see if I can't go to the asian grocer tomorrow with my mom. If I don't, then I'll get her to buy a pack of rice vermicelli so I can make pad thai on Monday in preparation for Tuesday. Yay! ♥mood: cheerful
